A razor sharp carving axe by Wood Tools. The weight of the head is 550g and the total weight around 720g (1lb 11oz), handle length is 12.5″ (31cm). A great mid-weight carving axe that most people will be able to use easily without getting tired.

This was one of the best online shopping experiences of my life. Perfect customer service from Dio. Friendly, efficient and helpful. Everything you could want! After a lot of research, I knew this was the Axe I wanted, and it’s every bit as good as I had hoped. I have used several, from generic utility types (Fiskars, Husqvarna etc) to more niche, handmade ones like Gränsfors. This is closest to the small Gränsfors and feels so good in your hand. I may have to also buy one for myself! (this was a gift for my wife 🙂
