The wooden spade is a fantastic alternative of the plastic spade that pollutes our environment.

Plastic pollutions has become on of the most pressing environmental issues, recently micro plastics were found in human blood. Exchange plastic with other materials will help our planet.

We collaborated with Urban Ole Ecopark and designed and made the custom wooden spoon.

How to make your spade:

1. With your carving knife start shaping your spade in your desired shape. Free your mind and let your imagination run.
2. Use the sandpaper for the little details and give, to your hand carved spade, the final shape.
3. Now your creative side comes forward. You can paint it, you can decorate it with kolrosing or chip carving. Make the spade your own.
4. Lastly, use the cloth and beeswax for the final stage. The beeswax will penetrate and seal the wood, creating a waterproof coating that will protect your creation and give it a natural looking shine.
