It takes me around 1-3 weeks to forge this gouge and ship it off.

Handforged gouge I use as a replacement for adze work.
I prefer them over adzes because I have more control over the blade movement. Use it with a combination of a wooden or rubber hammer and struck it.

It’s forged from spring steel (51crv4). The socket is forged close, the edge is quenched and tempered. The handle is made of black mulberry and is ground into shape, beaten into the socket, no glue or epoxy used.
