A drawknife is a traditional woodworking hand tool used to shape wood by removing shavings. It consists of a blade with a handle at each end. Hand-forged. We made this Drawknife from carbon steel 52100. For our meaning this steel is best for carpentry tools. The blade is straight. After hardening HRC – 58-59. Handles made from ash tree and are sealed with leather for a better grip. Also on the handles are bolts that will allow you to change the handle on the tool by yourself if necessary. Covered with stain and after covered mineral oil and bees wax. Leather case included.
