Axed out spoon blanks for you to carve at home.
Coming in various guises, eating & cooking spoon blanks roughed out with an axe by myself, posted green to your door.
This has proved a popular way for those who lack confidence with the axe, or are without a supply of green wood to keep practicing their carving.
When you receive your blanks, either get carving straight away or pop them in the freezer to keep the moisture in until you’re ready to carve.
Wood species will depend on what I have available at the time, but usually it will be a mix of Birch, Sycamore, Poplar, Lime or Willow.
Available in the UK by Jack Fazey and the rest of the world through “The Carvers Without Borders” network.
