Hand carved Goat Willow eating spoon that was carved from local greenwood in Bergen, Norway. It was carved using only axe and knives. No sandpaper. This gives it a better tactile feeling than sanded spoons, and gives it a more authentic look due to slight toolmarks.
The size and shape makes it ideal as a hiking spoon, or just as a spoon for your breakfast cereal/porridge,
It was finished using a food safe hardening oil. Hand wash only with soapy water. Do not leave to soak.
After some time you might want to give the finish a touch up to preserve it even longer. In this case use a thin film of linseed oil or other food-safe hardening oils
