Make your own leather strop with this piece of veg tan cowhide, 3 mm thick leather. Dimensions: 43 mm x 170 mm / 1.7 x 6.7 in
Use the suede side of the leather with stropping compound or the smooth one without for a final buff of the blade.
Make sure to remove any traces of stropping compound from your blade before the final buff on the smooth side.
We suggest purchasing two strips, one for each purpose. Glue each leather on both sides of an MDF block to make your own stropping paddle.
