High carbon steel skinning knife with dyed plum wood scales

The knife is hand-forged by me, from high carbon steel (80CrV2).
The blade is differentially hardened (means that only edge is hardened) and tempered, the handle is left unhardened.

The blade is finished with satin finish, which is easy to remake at home.
Pins are brass.
Wooden scales are soaked in tung oil then buffed with beeswax.

The knife is sharp.

The sheath is handstitched, hand-tooled, made out of vegetable tanned leather, dyed with natural dye.

-knife length: around 17cm(6.7″):
-blade 9cm, handle 8cm
