Our hand forged straight Timber Framing Chisel is made from hardened 52100 carbon steel. Chromium-containing low-alloy steel has ideally balanced properties for the manufacture of threaded, cutting tools. This is a high-strength, wear-resistant steel that retains sharpening for a long time. Ash wood handle.
The chisel can be used for carpentry and woodworking.
Useful for leveling ends, chamfering and cutting curved surfaces.
