After cutting the blade on the band saw by hand we cut the threads on the tang which we then use to glue and assembled the knife using a bolt. The plug we used on the pommel is made of buffalo bone.

October 2022, I finally managed join the Stockholm Knife Making Club. You see the pandemic postponed my plans about digging into knife making any sooner. Joining the club has lead to a wonderful collaboration with one of the knife making veterans here in Stockholm. André Rybak literally took me under his wings by sharing with me not only his workshop and equipment but most importantly his so precious knowledge and advice. The sloyd knife in the picture is one of the knives we made together, I hope you like it.
