Hi there! This is Bernat, from Wood Bern Carvings. I’m a woodcarver since 2016 and I’m specialized in Chip Carving. I teach live workshops in Barcelona and sell carving supplies such as knives, transfer tools and carving kits. I have no available my Book of Patterns, with 31 patterns for you to practice Chip Carving! Remember to make your prints using a laser printer machine in order to be able to make the transfers.

I’ve been into woodcarving since 2015. My first experience with carving was back in 2015 when my aunt handed me a piece of pine and 5€ set of tools. I stick to it until I found a local workshop where they taught me relief and chip carving techniques, Tallamadera.

After attending a couple of months I kept practicing at my home with my own designs. Learned more about patterns, sharpening and how to properly share my work on social media. Three years ago I started teaching live chip carving workshops in Barcelona and now I’m planning to do the same around Spain & Europe.

Chip carving is probably the cheapest and easiest forms of wood working that exists. With a single knife and a piece of softwood, you can create beautiful things at your own home. I hope you enjoy these practice patterns that I prepared!
