Hand-made Sloyd carving knife. The blade is made of recycled older saw mill blade steel and has only been finished at the belt grinder stage. The blade will need to be further honed prior to being used. Handle is made from very fine and highly figured Australian Tasmanian Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon) that was acquired from William (@creativesoultimber). The handle is finished with a timber wax.
