Carving blade made from very tough and hard stainless steel AEB-L from Alleima (Sandvik).
The blade is hand-sharpened on a stone-like fixture, transitioning seamlessly from a low grid to a high grind and polished with compounds on leather, resulting in a flat and polished surface. One side is decorated with nature-inspired plant engraving
The plum wood handle, shaped in an octagonal style and treated with tung oil, offers both aesthetic appeal, ergonomics, and durability. It is further buffed with beeswax for added protection and a smooth finish.
Designed for a variety of carving tasks such as spoons, kuksas, bowls, and more, this knife is meticulously honed to a shaving sharpness and mirror-like polish.
As a finishing touch, your knife comes complete with a paper/leather sheath for safekeeping.
