The Caapora is a Sloyd-type wood carving knife.

This version has a 70mm blade, which makes it a little easier to use than the 100mm version. I recommend it for carvers that are starting here in Brazil.

This version has a Oak handle.

70mm blade from hand forged steel 52100
Hollow ground for easy sharpening
Full heat treatment including grain refinement
Thickness of approx. 3mm at the base with distal thinning toward the tip. This makes it very versatile, even for details using the tip.
Wooden handle 130mm long
Stone Sharpened over hollow grind at 28 degrees, which makes it a general purpose blade, both for finishing and for more aggressive cuts
