This is a a one-time sloyd knife design which we made a while ago and it’s now available for purchase. In-stock item, ready to ship in 1-2 days.
The handle is made of oak and birch bark and the 86mm-blade is made of Elmax steel with a 24º degrees scandi grind. “Elmax steel is very popular high-end powder metallurgy stainless steel created by @Bohler-Uddenholm it’s known for its high wear resistance, high compressive strength, corrosion resistance, and very good dimensional stability. After cutting the blade on the band saw by hand we cut the threads on the tang which we then use to glue and assembled the knife using a bolt. The plug we used on the pommel is made of buffalo bone.
