Hand-made Sloyd carving knife. The blade is made of A2 air-hardening steel. Handle is made from Australian Hooked Needlewood (Hakea tephrosperma) that was acquired from William (@creativesoultimber). The handle is shaped into a hexagon form. The handle is file-finished with a coating of axe wax. The spine of the knife is rounded for comfort during carving. Due to the fine nature of the grind on this knife, the knife would suit only the most experienced of carvers.
