The name “Swit” is a blend of the letters “sw” from Sweden and “it” from Italy, and reflects the swift and precise cuts this axe head allows. Designed for those who enjoy crafting their own tools, this budget-friendly axe kit allows you to put together your very own carving axe.
The Axe Head: Modified from an existing Prandi model, this axe head is reduced in size and ground flat at a 35-degree angle, ideal for carving. Made from durable C45 steel, known for its strength and longevity. Weighing around 550 grams, it provides a well-balanced tool for long spoon carving sessions. The Axe Handle: The axe handle is made of American hickory and is an original design by Dio from The Spoon Crank. The handle became a reality due to the combined efforts of Alex from Pappa Snickrar, who helped during the prototyping phase, and Eskil Smedberg, who was responsible for the production.
